Year Review - 2021 (Shameless Celebratory Post)

What a year 2021 was! So much happened and I have been blown away by the fact that people are buying my photos and helping me to support animal sanctuaries and promote a vegan message.

I ended up visiting 8 different sanctuaries in 2021 and went a total of 13 visits. Among them were Dean Farm Trust, Pear Tree Farm and Devon Horse & Pony Sanctuary, all of whom I had also visited in 2020. The new sanctuaries were:

All of these sanctuaries were then featured in my first ever calendar! With the profits to be divided equally between them. (Some of which are still available to buy HERE)

I also had a photography dream come true when I became a We Animals Media Contributor towards the end of the year. For those who know me or have followed along for a while, you will know that We Animals Media founder Jo-Anne McArthur was the main inspiration behind doing what I now do.

Another first for me in 2021 was attending vigils. I was only able to attend two, but they were truly harrowing experiences, and ones I will never forget, and I fully intend to do more.

There have, of course, been some downs along the way in 2021 (broken ankle, the sad passing of Tina the Turkey, Thomas the pony and Fiesta the mare) but, on the whole, it was hugely positive.

There are a few things in the works already for 2022, with some visits lined up for the Spring, I have launched a newsletter now too, and I have many more things on the go that I am really hoping will help us to help even more animals in 2022 than ever before!
